I'm a big fan of the IP, but Killzone: Shadow Fall was a disappointment to me. The gritty and visceral aspect was gone, and replaced with some glitter and toys that didn't belong in the Killzone series IMHO. It always seemed to me like the game had been developped by an entirely different team, different to the one comprised of the likes of Hermen Hulst, Mathis de Jonge, Bart van der Beek and co. I don't know. Hence why It doesn't come anywhere close to comparing to the previo...
The thought of all that money they poured to buy all those Call of Duty games and their absurdly expensive DLCs for close to 20 years being used to make that grotesque red-haired clown in a suit even fatter should make COD fans at least demand that Activision then add him as DLC in the next COD as a some sort of bonus enemy character that pops in here and there on the map and emits puffs of banknotes when you shoot him, while quipping some "“you know if it was left to me, I would raise t...
Awesome, yes. Especially considering the fact that this time, I don't already own most of these games. Horizon Zero Dawn being the exception. It's gonna be long and tedious to finish the game again, as my save file of the NTSC-J version I have probably won't be compatible with the Pal version of the game that I'll be getting, but definitely worth it ultimately since I'll finally get to play the Frozen Wilds expansion!
DEAD SPACE 2 as number 1? Really? I've only ever played DEAD SPACE 1 (without finishing it) and, sure enough I liked it a lot, and have been yearning for getting to grips with an hd remastered trilogy for the PS4/XBox One/PS5/XBox Series X/S, but what about Deus Ex Human Revolution & Mankind Divided? Alienation (to quench our thirst for twitching fingers' top-down dual-stick shooters)? Or even Cyberpunk 2077 (once the game has been re-released and all the kinks have been ironed ou...
I have a PC, and I have a couple reasons to worry about if TES VI will come out on Playstation. For equality's sake, because I'd like to play it with the DualSense, because I'd rather own the game in tangible form rather than just have some digital licence on Steam or Epic Games Store or Microsoft Store or w/e, because my PC is not beefy enough to run it, because my friends will be on PS5 a few years down the road and I'd like to send them screenshots of the vistas I'm ga...
It's not right what Microsoft did right there. Regardless of what they can afford to do, it's not right to deprive millions of consumers of the games that the publisher and its development studios used to put out for various systems.
And I'm still not sold on Gamepass, Microsoft.
If you could afford a PC powerful enough to run God of War 2018 in the event it was ported, I think you can afford a PS5, or at least a PS4. What's stopping you?
Kratos can't die, he's a god. Remember?
Yup, fanboys.
I was about to join via the email I received, until I saw that new "feature", the removal of communities from the PS4... Something that was advertised to sell the product, they just remove it altogether. Just like the "Other OS" a few years ago on the PS3, or "Home"... Sony don't see the point anymore, or they deem it dangerous for their business, like the internet browser was suddenly deemed persona non grata on the PS5, pfuiiit, they remove it.
Tha...
That service was severely flawed, over here at least. Instead of offering the traditional dual soundtrack movie, one in english the other in the local language, they have only dubbed versions, one being in 5.1 surround sound, the other in stereo 2.0. Not one single track in english! Who comes up with cr@p like that? No wonder it never took off. You have to be out of your mind to try and tackle this business and never offer an OV with your movie.
A couple years ago I mentioned the pro...
I agree, but it only says "Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will release on PS5 on June 10, 2021. No PS4 version appears to be planned at the moment", not that the game is never coming to the PS4. It better be coming, that wouldn't be right for PS4 owners who purchased FF VII Pt 1 otherwise.
But, what really matters to me is if Parts 2, 3 , 4 come out for the PS4,as I'm gonna be staying with my PS4 Pro for a while still.
With the way Playstation seems to work as a business, with the various regional divisions like SIE Japan, SIE Europe, SIE America all operating almost completely independently from one another, I'd be surprised to learn Jim Ryan even had anything to do with that decision.
It sucks for Japan Studio, but until this article came out I couldn't have an example of a PS exclusive made by that studio in recent years come to my mind. I thought Ico, Shadow of the Colossus ...
I've been gaming almost exclusively on Playstation consoles for a solid quarter of a century, had all the problems everybody knows about with a good half of them (namely the first batches of PS1 and PS3), I own dozens of PS games spanning on 4 systems, I've spent a small fortune I dare not even start counting buying PS hardware, games, and peripherals, so rest assured I'm in no way "new to playstation". I am, however, not a blind fanboy contrary to some people, and call ...
What does it mean for the base game then? Is it still sound buying it now 2nd hand to play it online? I tried the beta back then and kinda enjoyed it.
With that I was just refering to the way the library looks, the menu, the UI, again.
Well, whatever floats your boat I guess, you too are entitled to your opinion. But I sure as hell am not buying that thing in its current state...
"there’s the ongoing mention across many groups and boards that Microsoft’s Xbox dashboard is disappointingly still a pretty standard affair compared to the Playstations new 4K interface"
Wha-------t?! The PS5 UI is trash ffs, even the XBox UI is better than that over-simplistic flat UI with tiny squares at the top of the screen that doesn't allow you to install dynamic themes anymore, and just has some still jpeg when you select a game. It's Sony who shou...
You're seriously deluded if you believe that the tiny PS5 install base would be deemed by any publisher anywhere near enough for a multi-million $ AAA title like God of War Ragnarök to stand the remotest chance of ever becoming profitable. The thing is, those 4.5 million PS5 sold last year, as announced by the gaming media, do not account for the number of consumers who actually own the system, as we all know a huge number of those consoles are in the hands of scalpers. It's kind...
Like charging people to play online? Like having a drive sold separately to play your movies? Like having a proprietary external storing solution? Like not having initially an HDMI output on each one of their system?
Yeah, thanks Microsoft... This right here is in the same vein of ideas. But the folks at Sony Playstation will figure that out, eventually.
Mr Cerny, please, tell whoever is responsible for it to revert back to the "old" (from the PS3 & PS4) trophy sound on the PS5. If it ain"t broke don't fix it, as they say...
